Családfánkat 1746-ig vezetjük vissza. A Németországból Magyarországra települt Tiffánok 11 generáció óta foglalkoznak szőlő- és bortermeléssel; e hagyomány apáról fiúra szállt.
A családi birtok szőlőterületei a borvidék villányi termelési körzetében találhatóak. A legkiválóbb dűlőkben helyezkednek el: Jammertal, Sterntal, Ördögárok, Remete, Kopár és Várerdő. Az ültetvényekben Portugieser, Kadarka, Kékfrankos, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon fajtákat termesztenek és természetesen ezen fajták legegészségesebb fürtjei kitűnő borok is készülnek.
Tíz generációt átölelő múltunk és jelenünk kötelez minket arra, hogy a szőlőben, a borban és a vendéglátásban a hiteles minőséghez való teljes ragaszkodás legyen az irányadó elvünk.
Birtokunk alapítója és vezetője Tiffán Ede, akinek kivételes szakértelme, elhivatottsága, a borvidék iránti rajongása a biztosítéka annak, hogy az Önök poharaiban a hitelesség és a tradíció tisztelete díszítse a bor minden rezdülését! Szőlőültetvényeink a borvidék legkiemelkedőbb dűlőiben fekszenek, a rajtuk termő fajták pedig rendkívüli minőséget adnak, évről évre. Célunk az, hogy személyes jelenlétünk, a bor, az étel, a táj, a pihenés széles körű élményt nyújtson! A napfény, annak éltető ereje, a talaj, a fekvés, a klimatikus adottságok, a fajták kiválasztása, a szőlőt művelő ember szorgalma, alázata mind-mind hozzájárulnak ahhoz, hogy a gyümölcsből elegáns, érett és finom bor készüljön.
A Tiffán’s Pince Villány talán legszebb panorámájával rendelkező teraszán akár 60 fő gyönyörködhet a csodálatos tájban. Ez élményt fokozza egyik legnagyobb gasztronómiai attrakció, a teraszukon található kemence, amelyben a bárányból, kacsából, malacból, s egyéb finom húsokból készítenek ínycsiklandó étkeket Vendégeik számára.

Our family has been engaged in wine growing and wine since 1746 in the Villany wine region. Our past and present, which spans ten generations, obliges us to be guided by the absolute adherence to authentic quality in grapes, wine and hospitality.
Our vineyards are located in the most outstanding vineyards of the wine region, and the varieties produced on them are of exceptional quality, year after year. Our goal is to make our personal presence, wine, food, landscape, relaxation a great experience!
Tiffan’s Winery is a family business that has centuries of history. Ede Tiffan is the ninth generation in the family who is engaged in viticulture and winemaking in Villany and Villanykovesd. Ede Tiffan graduated from the College of Horticulture in 1965 as a Certified Horticultural Engineer, and then worked as a viticulturist and winemaker for 27 years in the Villany large farms, the State Farm and the local cooperative. In addition to his main job, he started his own business in 1967 at his own vineyard and winery.
In 1991 Ede Tiffan was first named the Wine Producer of the Year. In 1999 the President of the Republic awarded him with the Officer’s Cross of the Order of the Republic (together with Istvan Szepsy of Tokaj). The tenth generation is represented by Zsolt Tiffan, who primarily manages the company’s event organization and, since spring 2010, has been a prominent member of the parliament as a public figure. The eleventh generation is already on a journey: Zsolt is a graduate student in Corvinus University, graduate in viticulture and wine, and Balazs is a graduate of the Villany Agricultural Vocational Training School.
