Borászatunk Chateau típusú pincészet, birtokközpontunk egy kiskastélyban található Szekszárdtól északra, a Zomba melletti Szent Gaál szőlőhegyen. A kastély barokk hangulatú, melyet egy 3,5 hektáros park ölel körül, melléképületei adnak otthont borászatunknak. 23 hektár területen gazdálkodunk. Szőlőink három dűlőben fekszenek, kiváló fekvésű területeken. Tulajdonosunk 2011 óta irányítja borházunkat. Hitvallásunk gyümölcsös, jól iható, Szekszárd értékeihez illeszkedő borokat tölteni a palackba. Az elkészült borokat kiskereskedelmi hálózatokban értékesítjük elsősorban, közel 100 000 palackot évente.
A Szekszárdi Borvidék a Szekszárdi dombság keleti fekvésű lejtőin, illetve a kelet-nyugati völgyek lankáin terül el. A különböző fekvésekben kialakult mikroklimatikus viszonyoknak fokozott jelentősége van.
A Birtok
A Várdomb dűlő egyedisége, érdekessége abban rejlik, hogy egybefüggő Kadarka ültetvényről van szó. A helyi történetek szerint a telepítés az 1960-70-es években volt. Sajnos pontos feljegyzés nem áll rendelkezésre a telepítés pontos körülményeiről és időpontjáról. A következő telepítés 1985, 86-ban történt a Pécsi Kutatóintézet által szelektált P9-es klónnal, melynek jellegzetessége gyümölcsössége. Művelési módja alacsony kordon. Különleges odafigyelést és bánásmódot igényel, hogy az ültetvényt megismerjük, a fajtában lévő lehetőséget és a benne rejlő értékeket feltérképezzük. Legjobb tudásunk és szakmai alázatunk szerint kezeljük, hogy erről az értékes dűlőről a legszebb borokat tudjuk mutatni.
A strázsahegyi dűlő 12 hektáron terem. Fajtaszerkezet: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Kékfrankos. A dűlő Szekszárd legnemesebb és legjobb adottságokkal rendelkező vörösboros dűlője, mely megállapítást az eddigi évek tapasztalatai és a pincében lévő borok alátámasztanak. Innen szüreteljük testes boraink alapanyagát zömmel. Művelési mód: középmagas kordon.
Barnavölgy. Az ültetvényt 1996-1997-ben telepítették, fajta-szerkezete vegyes: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zweigelt. Térszerkezete: 2,40 méter * 1,00 / 1,20 méter. Művelési mód: alacsony kordon. A völgy iránya kelet-nyugati és a dűlőt erdősáv veszi körül, így a vadak kedvelt csemegéző helye is. Főként könnyedebb borokat várunk az ültetvényről.
Ültetvényeinken főleg Kadarka, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc és Merlot terem. Kisebb mennyiségben van Olaszrizling és Portugieser is, Kékfrankost újonnan telepítettünk. Fő profilunk a Szekszárdi Bikavér ami a termelés felét teszi ki, meghatározó még a Cabernet aránya mintegy 30 %. Ezenkívül 10%-t rosé ad, 10 % -t könnyű vörösborok tesznek ki. 2017-ben kísérleti jelleggel pezsgőt és héjon kierjesztett fehérszőlőből „Narancs bor”-t készítettünk.
Our winery is a Chateau-type winery, our estate center is located in a small castle north of Szekszard, on the Szent Gaal vineyard near Zomba. The castle has a Baroque atmosphere, surrounded by a 3.5 hectare park, and its buildings house our winery. We farm 23 hectares. Our vineyards are located on three vineyards in prime locations. Our owner has been managing our winery since 2011. Our credo is to fill the bottle with fruity, drinkable wines that fit Szekszard’s values. The finished wines are primarily sold through retail chains, with nearly 100,000 bottles per year.
The Szekszard Wine Region is located on the eastern slopes of the Szekszard hills and on the slopes of the East-West valleys. The microclimatic conditions formed at different locations are of increasing importance.
The Estate
The uniqueness and interestingness of the Vardomb slope lies in the fact that it is a large Kadarka plantation. According to local stories, the installation was in the 1960s and 1970s. Unfortunately, no exact record of the date of installation is available. The next installation was in 1985, 86 with a P9 clone selected by the Pecs Research Institute, which is characterized by its fruity character. It is cultivated on a low cordon. It requires special care and treatment to get to know the plantation, to explore the potential of the variety and its intrinsic values. We handle it to the best of our knowledge and professional humility to show you the finest wines from this precious vineyard.
The Strazsahegy vineyard produces 12 hectares. Grape structure: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Blaufrankisch. The vineyard is Szekszard’s noblest and best red wine vineyard, which is confirmed by the experience of the past years and the wines in the cellar. From here we harvest the bulk of our full-bodied wines. Cultivation method: medium high cordon.
Barnavolgy: The plantation was planted in 1996-1997 and has a mixed variety structure: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zweigelt. Spatial structure: 2.40 meters * 1.00 / 1.20 meters. Cultivation mode: low cordon. The valley is east-west and the vineyard is surrounded by a forest belt, making it a favorite place for wildlife to eat. We expect mainly lighter wines from the plantation.
Our plantations mainly include Kadarka, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. There are also smaller quantities of Welschriesling and Portugieser, we recently installed Blaufrankisch. Our main profile is the Szekszard Bull’s Blood, which makes up half of the production, the Cabernet still has a significant share of about 30%. It also gives 10% rosé and 10% light red wines. In 2017, we made champagne and ‘Orange wine’ made from white grapes fermented on skin.
