NADOR crosses borders. NADOR stands primarily for vinifying Kékfrankos grapes and comes to market after 5 years of aging and maturation. In 2018 a small vineyard was planted with Furmint, for 2022 we plan the first harvest – the so called maiden harvest – and will introduce our first white wine to our wine family around the world.
The starting point for NADOR was in 2001. Best sites of Vas-hegy, steep and south/southwest oriented and partially fallow. About 60 years ago the best wines grew here, but nobody wanted to cultivate the steep slopes any longer. That appealed to Garger. A total of 4.5 hectares of vineyards were gradually acquired, which we purchased from more than 20 owners. The grapes from the different vineyards are processed into our village wine (Falu rosé and red), the Selection „Hegy” and 3 single-vineyard-wines (Stuala, Voller, Wanzer).
The NADOR wines are characterized by great potential, longevity and the herbaceous spiciness – their unmistakable trademark. The Eisenberg can genuinely be “smelled and tasted”.
