A Villa Sandahl pincészet 2004 óta foglalkozik borkészítéssel a Balaton északi partján elterülő legmagasabb tanúhegyen, a Badacsonyon. A svéd alapító tulajdonosok a kezdetektől fogva a minőségi bortermelésre helyezték a hangsúlyt, és ezen munka eredményeként pincészetünk mára az egyik legjobb Rajnai Rizling termelővé vált Magyarországon.
Terroir
A Sandahl pincészet összesen mintegy 10 hektárnyi területen művel szőlőt a Badacsony hegy legértékesebb dűlőin. Badacsony talajszerkezetében a vulkáni eredetű kőzetek dominálnak – elsősorban bazalt – melyek ásványos hatása a borok kóstolása során is megmutatkozik. Ezen kívül hosszan érlelhető, gazdag borok születnek a vulkanikus talajokról, amely így remek párosításnak bizonyul a hasonlóan nemes adottságokkal bíró Rajnai Rizling Villa Sandahl fajtával.
Borstílusunk
Az általunk alkalmazott borászati technológia, a Balaton közelségéből adódó speciális időjárási viszonyok, a vulkanikus talaj és a Rajnai Rizling fajta ötvözete egy kimondottan egyedi, és felismerhető borstílust eredményez. A borainkra általában egyszerre jellemző a visszafogott ásványosság, a fajtából adódó elegáns gyümölcsösség, és a koncentrált, gazdag ízvilág. A borok már fiatalon is vonzó jegyeket mutatnak, intenzívebb illatokkal és friss ízekkel, de a bennük rejlő igazi potenciált a több éves palackérlelés hozza csak igazán felszínre
Rezidencia
A hozzánk ellátogatók nem csak a boraink adta illat- és ízélményekben merülhetnek el, de a birtokközpontunkon megpihenve az egyik legszebb balatoni panorámát is élvezhetik. A Kezdet dűlő közepén festői balatoni tájkép tárul elénk, melynek minden szépségét kiélvezhetik vendégeink a rezidenciánkon lazítva.

Villa Sandahl was founded in Badacsony 2004, by two Swedish brothers with their families. The winery produces wine on the highest volcanic hill on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, on the Badacsony hill. >From the beginning we focused on producing excellent quality wines and nowadays we have become one of the best Riesling producers in Hungary.
Terroir
Villa Sandahl cultivates 10 hectares vineyard on the most valuable sites of the Badacsony hill. The soil structure of the hill consists mainly volcanic stones and its typical mineral nature can be maximally felt in our wines. From what we see Riesling goes extremely well with the Badacsony soil.
Wine style
Rhine Riesling has naturally higher acidity and ripens slower in the autumn, and seems to be the optional choice in our bit hot and dry vineyards. The exceptional microclimate of Lake Balaton, the special terroir and the Alsace-origin winemaking technology and philosophies combine to ourunique and inimitable wine style: exciting, rich aromas, mineral, fragrant, elegant and full-bodied wines which are fresh and crisp in their youth, and powerful to improve for many years in the bottle.
Residence
Visitors to us can not only immerse themselves in the aromas and flavours of our wines, but also relax in our estate centre and enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas of Lake Balaton. In the middle of the „Genesis” vineyard, a picturesque landscape of Lake Balaton unfolds before us, all the beauties of which can be enjoyed by our guests while staying at our residence.
